Johnnie Walker uncovers the stories of some of Australia’s most extraordinary men at
‘An Evening with Johnnie Walker’
Last week my husband and I were lucky enough to be invited to attend An Evening with Johnnie Walker at Sydney’s Carriageworks in Redfern.
We feasted on canapés and Johnnie Walker Black Label cocktails as Johnnie Walker led guests on an exhilarating journey into the lives of three of Australia’s most inspiring men. Cricket legend and former Australian Captain, Steve Waugh, former Olympian and gold medal winner, Grant Hackett and renowned explorer and former Australian of the year, Tim Cope all shared their incredible stories and experiences, with 300 of Sydney’s elite. The evening was hosted by renowned journalist and author Peter FitzSimons. He unveiled stories of personal progress, adversity and determination, giving the audience the opportunity to hear the great stories of their amazing accomplishments.
Model and TV personality Erika Heynatz facilitating an interactive digital forum where members of the audience were able to tweet questions live.
It was a fantastic evening and such an honour to be amongst some of Australia's legends.
